A DSAR form allows your users to manage their consent to your website's usage of their data, along with other user rights. Under data privacy protection laws, you need to ensure your users have the ability to request to access, edit, transfer, or delete their personal data.

Termly offers a DSAR form that you can easily enable for your users from your dashboard. Follow these steps to create a DSAR form that you can add to your website as a link or iframe.

1. In your Termly dashboard, click on Consent Management, then click DSAR Form. You will see a preview of the request form.

Note: You will need a privacy policy to access your DSAR form. If you have not created a privacy policy yet, you will be prompted to do so. You can also go to the Privacy Policy tab in the dashboard and click New Privacy Policy, or create your policy here. A link to your DSAR form will also appear in your privacy policy.

2. Click Add to Website in the top right-hand corner.

3. You can now select URL or HTML to embed the form. Embed the link or HTML where your customers can easily access it.

When a customer fills out the DSAR form, you will receive an email letting you know the details of the request, along with recommended steps to address the request. For more information, read How do I respond to a DSAR?
