Termly provides three ways to embed a policy on your website. To begin, log in to your dashboard, click on the policy you want to embed, then click Add To Website.
Your options include:
- Pasting static HTML directly to your website
- Linking to a URL (available for Pro+ users)
- Embedding using a code snippet (available for Pro+ users)
HTML Format
To add your policy onto your website using HTML, select HTML Format, click Copy To Clipboard, and then paste onto the <body> section of your website.
URL
To add your policy using a URL, select URL, click Copy to Clipboard, and then paste the URL as a hyperlink to an element on your webpage. Your policy will be viewable by anyone who clicks the link.
This is a Termly-hosted URL. This ensures your policies are updated automatically when you publish changes.
Code Snippet
To add your policy using a code snippet, select Code Snippet, click Copy to Clipboard, then paste onto your website. The code snippet will appear as an iframe on your page.
This method also ensures your policies are updated automatically when you publish changes.
