The Cookie Scanner uses an easy four-part process:

1. Provide us with the URL you want to be scanned for cookies.
2. A robot is sent to crawl every page of that domain — acting as a browser — and captures the details of all the cookies found. Keep in mind that the robot will obey the no-follow rules in your robots.txt file.
3. Delayed cookies (such as those deployed via GTM) are then captured and recorded.
4. The final results of the scan are compiled into a comprehensive cookie report and sent to you via email. You may also access this scan at any time in your dashboard once you create an account.
