These laws cover the rights of residents in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, and California.

Can Termly’s products be used for compliance with privacy laws outside of the EU, UK, or US?

In some cases, Termly’s products can be used for compliance with other countries’ laws. Many countries’ privacy legislation is based on the EU GDPR, which is one of the strictest privacy laws. If you use Termly to comply with the EU GDPR, you may already be complying with other similarly drafted laws.

However, Termly does not currently provide assurance of compliance with laws outside of the EU GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA. If you do decide to use Termly’s products for legislation outside of these laws, we recommend you contact a local attorney to review your policies and compliance situation. This way you can take advantage of Termly’s features while still ensuring full compliance.
