One of the most common issues causing a failed cookie scan is an incorrect URL! Check if your sites URL is correct (sometimes even an incorrectly placed 'www' can cause a failed cookie scan, you can also try removing the 'www' from your URL.)
If you are still receiving a failed scan message when using our Cookie Consent Manager it may be because your website disallows scanning.
To allow scanning, follow the steps below:
1. Check the robots.txt file on your website
2. Remove the entire Disallow: line.
3: Try the scan again and you should be able to see the cookies being used on your site from our scanner.
